Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Supervisor - Development to lead underground development crews at Ernest Henry Operations. This role focuses on safe production targets, coordinating resources, and collaborating with Technical Services to execute mine plans.

The position emphasizes developing people, maintaining safety culture, and driving continuous improvement. FIFO from Brisbane/Townsville/Cairns on an 8/6 roster is offered.

Qualifications

• Underground hard rock mining experience with supervisory leadership.
• Shift Supervisor competencies (S1/S2/S3) or equivalent, plus First Aid/CPR and a valid licence.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground development crews to safely achieve production targets
• Coordinate people, equipment and resources to maximise performance
• Work closely with Technical Services to execute mine plans
• Coach and develop team members to build capability and support career growth
• Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and risk management
• Conduct workplace inspections, incident investigations and statutory reporting
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
