Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is seeking a CTF Operator/Project Crew Member to support a range of site projects in Ballarat. The role will initially operate on a 5:2, 4:3 roster with potential transition to a 7:7 dayshift roster.

You will service, maintain and repair underground plant and equipment, inspect pipelines, install infrastructure, and perform daily material sampling. Applicants should hold a current Australian driver’s licence; trades experience is highly desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Current Australian Driver's licence required.
• A Trade is highly desirable (e.g. Carpentry, handyman, Fitter, Boilermaker).
• Experience operating mechanised, lifting and handheld equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work underground and complete an Underground induction.
• Able to multi-task and prioritise with minimal supervision.
• Pre-employment medical and police check; valid working rights essential.

Aufgaben

• Operate the CTF to transport paste underground.
• Underground inspections of pipelines, valves and equipment; replace parts as needed.

• Organise materials and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and/or breakdowns of plant and equipment.

CTF Operator/Project Crew

We're looking for a motivated CTF Operator/Project Crew Member to support a range of site projects. This role will initially operate on a 5:2, 4:3 roster, with the potential to transition to a 7:7 dayshift Roster. Reporting to the Electrical & Fixed Plant Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance and repair of underground plant and equipment, including:

CTF (Cemented Tails Fill) Duties:

Day to day running of the CTF to transport paste underground

Underground inspections of all pipelines, valves and associated apparatus of the CTF, replacing/maintenance on parts if needed

Installation of infrastructure on the surface and underground, including valves, pipes, cameras etc

Daily sampling of materials using correct tools to ensure quality mixtures

Ability to work unsupervised, have good communication and organisation skills

Surface:

Plumbing and building maintenance, replacing taps, pipes, decking boards etc.

Underground:

Assisting the Fixed Plant Fitter with pump repairs, mono servicing, repairs, and replacement

Small and major project work, pump station installs, fan installs, vent wall/door installs.

Maintain and working on the main dewatering system, air system and mine water system

Machine operations, eg: IT, Loaders

General:

Maintaining good housekeeping and a safe work environment.

Organising for the supply of materials and equipment required to carry out maintenance and repairs activities.

Diagnosing faults and/or breakdowns of plant and equipment.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate

Current Australian Drivers licence required

A Trade is highly desirable (e.g. Carpentry, handyman, Fitter, Boilermaker)

Knowledge, skills, and competencies around operating mechanised, lifting and handheld equipment

Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Able to work in an underground environment and complete an Underground induction.

Ability to multi-task, change priorities, achieve tasks on time, all with minimal supervision.
