Job summary

Westgold Resources is hiring a Charge Up Operator for permanent, full-time roles across our Western Australian operations, with FIFO from Perth. You’ll charge headings, handle explosives safely and work with the team to meet production targets, reporting to the Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have underground experience, relevant licences (WA Shot Firers, DGSC) and a current driver’s licence. A strong safety mindset and Australian work rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience working underground as a Charge Up Operator.
• Licence and compliance requirements including WA Shot Firers licence and DGSC or willingness to apply.
• Manual Driver’s licence and right to work in Australia.
• Must meet pre-employment safety and medical screening.

Responsibilities

• Charging development headings and production stopes.
• Handling and transporting explosive materials safely.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by Supervisor.
