Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Charge Up Operator to join the Production team at the CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW. The role covers underground charge-up activities for blasting operations and requires strict adherence to safety procedures.

The position offers a 7/7 days & nights roster with residential, DIDO or FIFO options from Brisbane or Sydney, and a competitive salary with bonus eligibility. Training and career growth opportunities are provided within a dynamic international mining

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of underground charge-up experience.
• BEUL and UHL licences required.
• Strong commitment to safety, health and environment.

Responsibilities

• Connect detonation systems, set up detonators and wiring for controlled blasting.
• Safely load explosives into drilled holes for blasting.
• Follow blast designs from engineering plans and drawings.
• Communicate with supervisors and other operators to prep for firing.
• Prepare and clean work areas, check ground conditions and ensure the stope is ready for safe blasting.
