Job summary

Ramcorp Investments in Victoria, Australia, seeks an Underground Bogger Operator for a 7/7 roster with 12-hour shifts on a 7 days on/off schedule. DIDO local and FIFO opportunities available for the right candidate, located in Ballarat region.

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will bog development headings and stopes, load stockpiles, and maintain truck efficiency, with remote bogging using Tele-Remotes and operating Sandvik/Cat loaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground hard rock mining techniques including watering, scaling, bogging of development headings and production stopes.
• Demonstrates initiative and a flexible approach to work.
• Willingness to build a safe and productive work culture with a high focus on quality and the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate Sandvik/Cat loaders.
• Experience in production charging.
• Vic Shot firing / Black ticket (advantageous)

Job description

Ramcorp are a privately owned civil construction and underground mining company supplying various related equipment and labour services throughout the country.

On behalf of our valued client, we are currently seeking suitably experienced applications to fill the role of Underground Bogger Operator. This position is on a 7 and 7 rotating roster, between dayshift and nightshift. Located in Victoria, whilst working 12-hour shifts.

DIDO positions available for locals, with FIFO opportunities also on offer for the right candidate.

About the role:

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, the Bogger operator is responsible for:

• Bogging of development headings production stopes
• Loading stockpiles to trucks
• Keep trucks operating at full efficiency
• Bog out and clean faces
• Inspect for misfires, promptly notify the Shift Supervisor, and perform hosing down and scaling as required
• Remote Bogging from open stopes using Tele-Remotes
• Tram material from stockpiles
• Keep all roads in working area tidy and free from pooling water and other potential hazards
• Manual and Tele-Remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles

About You:

To be successful in the role, you will possess:
