Job summary

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bogger Operator to join our Underground Mining team in Ballarat, Victoria. The role reports to the Underground Shift Supervisor and focuses on bogging development headings, loading stockpiles, and maintaining truck efficiency.

Requirements include 3+ years underground hard rock mining experience, ability to operate Sandvik/Cat loaders, and a valid C Class Driver’s Licence. Pre-employment medical and police checks apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ underground mining experience.
• Experience with underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, scaling, bogging of development headings and production stopes.
• Current Vic Shot firing / Black ticket (advantageous).
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Experience in narrow-vein mining methods.

Responsibilities

• Bogging of development headings and production stopes.
• Loading stockpiles to trucks and ensuring trucks operate efficiently.
• Bog out and clean faces; inspect for misfires and notify shifts.
• Remote bogging from open stopes using tele-Remotes; tram material from stockpiles.
• Maintain roads in working area free of hazards and pooling water.
• Manual and tele-remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles.
