Job summary

Barminco is seeking an Agitator Operator to support underground mining operations across Western Australia. You will operate a concrete agitator truck, delivering concrete for ground support and infrastructure, while coordinating with crews to ensure safe, accurate placement in a dynamic underground environment.

Ideal candidates will have HR driving credentials, mining certifications, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating agitator trucks or heavy equipment.
• Valid HR Driver’s Licence and mining certifications.
• Ability to work in a team and follow mine plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate an underground agitator truck to transport and pour concrete.
• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, infrastructure.
• Work with crews to place concrete safely and accurately.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit.

About our Role

Join the Barminco team as an Agitator Operator and play a key role in our underground mining operations with opportunities available at multiple sites throughout Western Australia. You will contribute to safe, efficient underground production using modern concrete agitator trucks to deliver, place, and pour concrete for ground support, infrastructure, and mine development activities.

What will your day to day look like?

• Operate an underground agitator (Agi) truck to transport and pour concrete.


• Deliver concrete for ground support, slabs, foundations, and infrastructure works.


• Work closely with crews to position and place concrete safely and accurately.


• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Agi unit.


• Follow underground safety, traffic, and ventilation procedures

Our ideal candidate background includes

• Previous experience operating agitator trucks, concrete equipment and/or heavy equipment


• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.


• Valid HR Driver’s Licence and relevant mining certifications.


• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.
