Job summary

Charterhouse is seeking an Undergraduate Accountant to join its Sydney CBD Business Services team on a part-time or full-time basis while you complete your accounting degree. The role offers flexible WFH arrangements, hands-on training, and exposure to experienced Accountants, Managers and Partners in a supportive culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a university student to gain genuine public practice experience, build technical skills, and develop a career path in Business Services

Qualifications

• Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, or related degree.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Business Services or Tax.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Personable, proactive team player; prior accounting/administration or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and other entities.
• Support the team with BAS, GST and general compliance work.
• Assist with client accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Work closely with experienced Accountants, Managers and Partners to receive hands-on training and mentoring.

The Role
