Job summary

Equipe Advisory is a boutique accounting firm in Adelaide offering an Undergraduate Accountant position. You will receive comprehensive training, development opportunities, and support to excel while working with our management team on tax, accounting, and business advisory engagements.

You’ll contribute to payroll processing, bookkeeping, tax calculations, BAS/PAYG, financial statements, and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in university degree in accounting, business or commerce.
• Commitment to completing degree while gaining practical experience.
• Interest in business advisory and tax services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bookkeeping tasks including payroll, AP/AR, invoicing, payment tracking and reconciliation.
• Prepare files, workpapers and client correspondence.
• Support calculations related to GST, Capital Gains Tax and Fringe Benefits Tax.
• Handle BAS, PAYG and variations for all entities.
• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Assist management reporting across various business activities and projects.

Job Description

As an Undergraduate Accountant at Equipe Advisory, you'll receive comprehensive training, continuous development opportunities, and unwavering support to excel in your role. Working closely with our experienced management team, you'll contribute to various tax, accounting, and business advisory engagements. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in completing bookkeeping tasks including, but not limited to, processing payroll, and handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
• Preparing files, workpapers, and client correspondence.
• Supporting calculations related to tax matters like Goods and Services Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Fringe Benefits Tax.
• Handling the preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements, PAYG reports, and variations for all entities
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
• Assisting in management reporting for a wide range of business activities and projects.
