Job summary

Exclaim IT supports a Federal Government client seeking a UAT Officer to coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose before release.

Working with the Program Test Manager, Product Teams, business users and technology teams, you will prepare test cases for execution and support participants throughout testing, reporting progress and defects as part of the delivery process.

Qualifications

• Experience in large digital transformation projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to translate between business and technical language.
• Experience coordinating testing with business users.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Experience using project work management tools (Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Engage with Product Teams early to prepare for UAT activities.
• Coordinate the delivery and preparation of UAT test cases.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure UAT readiness.
• Prepare and support business users participating in UAT.
• Coordinate UAT execution and provide support to participants.
• Monitor testing progress and prepare UAT status reporting.
• Coordinate defect triage, findings and outcomes from UAT.
• Assist with Acceptance Testing plans and broader testing activities.
• Prepare testing updates and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Support continuous improvement of UAT processes.
• Experience supporting UAT within ICT/digital transformation.
• Experience in roles such as Project Officer, Test Officer, Change Analyst.
