Job summary

Otraco International is seeking experienced Tyre Fitters/Technicians to support multiple WA mine sites. Roles include 12-hour shifts with day/night rosters and a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy, a valid HR licence, and demonstrate initiative, reliability and the ability to work autonomously in a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy is required.
• HR Driving licence is required.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work autonomously under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure compliance with site and company safety rules.
• Promote a safety culture across site operations.

In Australia alone, we have a presence on over 45 mining operations, and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require experienced Tyre Fitters and Tyre Technicians for various mine sites in WA:

• Various Mine sites in WA
• Various rosters - including 8:6, 2:1 or 2:2 depending on site
• 12 hr days with days/night available
• Small team environment
• Large tyre bays with great on-site facilities

Duties include:

• Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and safety rules
• Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment
• Fitting tyres on various machinery within the mining sector

About you:

• A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920
• A valid HR Driving licence
• Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
• An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
• Possess a high level of maturity, initiative, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously
