Otraco is seeking an experienced OTR Tyre Technician for Cape Preston, WA. Work a 2:1 roster on a 12-hour dayshift in a large dual tyre bay with on-site facilities. You will lead by example and promote a culture of zero-harm safety across the site.

Requirements include at least 2 years of earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites, a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/21920), a valid HR licence, and a current forklift ticket. S 26 is advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites.
• Certificate II Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/21920) required.
• Valid HR driving licence (class) is preferred.
• Current WorkSafe forklift licence is required.
• S 26 advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously with high safety discipline.

In Australia alone, we have a presence on over 47 mining operations and, due to continued growth and internal movement, we currently require an experienced OTR Tyre Technician for our Cape Preston operations in WA:

Role details:

• Based at Cape Preston
• 2:1 roster
• 12 hr days with dayshift only
• Small team environment
• Large dual tyre bay with great on-site facilities

Duties include:

• Leading by example to ensure all personnel comply with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and Golden Rules
• Actively promoting a safety culture across site operations that targets zero harm to personnel and the environment

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
• A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920
• A valid HR Driving licence
• A current WorkSafe forklift licence
• S 26; Advantageous
• Possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
• An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
• Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously
