Job summary

The GPT Group in Sydney is seeking a Fund Accountant to join an established team on a 6-12 month contract. The role covers month-end close, NAV preparation, and investment accounting across fund entities, with hybrid working arrangements.

Candidates should have 3-5 years in a similar role, ideally with experience in hospitality, real estate or private equity fund management, and possess CA or CPA qualifications along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close for fund entities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, tax and cashflow reporting.
• Prepare and review fund NAVs, unit pricing, consolidations, and equity-accounted investments.
• Manage accounting for investments, foreign currency, debt, interest, hedging and covenant reporting.
• Support audits, tax compliance, GST lodgments, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, support finance projects and systems, and meet key reporting deadlines.

A well- established organisation is searching for a Fund Accountant to join their team. This role will be working as part of an established team and will be on a 6-12 month contract role.

About You
