Anton Murray Consulting seeks a Senior Fund Accountant for a permanent role in Sydney. You will oversee unit pricing and fund accounting for all clients, and contribute to the hard close and month-end processes.

Role includes involvement in onboarding new clients, restructures, and transitions, with mentoring responsibilities for junior fund accountants and ensuring quality reporting within SLA targets.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience in fund accounting and unit pricing.
• Knowledge of tax services and prior reviewing/oversight experience.
• Experience with regulatory and statutory reporting.
• Australian Fund Accounting Experience and based in Australia.
• Hi-Portfolio, PControl unit pricing system, MS Word & Excel experience.

Our client is a large global financial services firm with a rapidly growing asset services business. This is a permanent role as a Senior Fund Accountant in their Sydney office.

Reporting into the Fund Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of the Unit Pricing and fund accounting for all Clients. The role has responsibility over the hard Close / month end process. The consultant will also be involved in implementation of new clients along with restructures and transitions for existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Fund Accountant plays an important role in supporting the service delivery of the Fund Administration team and acting as a mentor to the Fund Accountant. The Senior Fund Accountant verifies and reviews the work of the Fund Accountants who prepare and produce accurate and quality reporting in line with SLA targets. Specifically the generation of:

• Regulatory reporting


• Statutory reporting


• Accounting reports

Experience

4+ years of experience in fund accounting unit pricing and knowledge of tax services and prior reviewing/ oversight experience.

Technical accounting ability. Knowledge of fund accounting, reporting and related operational risk and compliance requirements of the client service function.

Systems experience: Hi-Portfolio, PControl unit pricing system and MS Word & Excel.

For this role, only candidates holding a AUS PR or AUS Citizen will be considered

You must also have Australian Fund Accounting Experience, and already be based in Australia
