Job summary

Melbourne North Truck Centre is seeking a dedicated Driver & Yard Person to join our Sales Department. You will assist with the collection and delivery of vehicles to and from customers, manage vehicle movement around the dealership, and prepare the coordination and detailing of new and used vehicles.

The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a valid HR/HC/MC licence; a dangerous goods licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• A proactive approach to tasks and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Safety-conscious with a focus on safe driving practices.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence (HR/HC/MC).

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection and delivery of vehicles to and from customers.
• Manage movement of vehicles around the dealership yard.
• Prepare coordination and detailing of new and used vehicles.
• Maintain presentation of the branch and assist with minor maintenance.
• Ensure all trucks on display are clean and presentable.

About the role

Melbourne North Truck Centre are seeking a dedicated, skilled and meticulous individual to fill an opening as aDriver & Yard Personin our Sales Departments. Maintaining the highest level of customer service, you will represent the company to our suppliers and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection and delivery of vehicles to and from our customers
• Manage the movement of vehicles around the dealership
• Prepare the coordination and detailing of new and used vehicles
• Maintain presentation of the branch both internally and externally, including minor maintenance where require
• Ensure all trucks on display are clean and presentable

Skills & Experience

• A proactive approach to tasks with a proven ability of working in a team environment
• Must have HR/HC/MC Drivers Licence
• Dangerous goods licence an advantage
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• High level of commitment to safety and safe driving practices
• Basic computer knowledge
