Job summary

JJ's Waste & Recycling is seeking a JJ's Truck Driver to operate a waste collection vehicle from the Artarmon depot on a full-time basis. You will service multiple customer sites daily using a safe, well-maintained fleet and on-site workshops.

• Follow a driver run sheet while being able to think on your feet to complete runs.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ's Truck Driver, you will operate a waste collection vehicle from the Artarmon depot.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. You will enjoy family friendly hours, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work!

Physical Stamina and Strength: The role will involve manual labour, such as loading and unloading bins. Early starts - 4am

If you've got your HR licence and experience, we can teach you the rest!

ABOUT YOU

• Current HR license
• Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift, tanker or front lift truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)
• Turn up on time and can be relied on to get the job done
• You can follow a driver run sheet, but you're also able to think on your feet and work out the best way to complete your run
• Be the face of JJ's for our customers; so being approachable and professional comes naturally to you
• Safety matters to you - you follow the rules
• You're happy to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
• Provide a 5-year traffic history at the interview
