Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking reliable Truck Drivers to join a busy Loadout team at our Grantham processing facility. You will operate trucks and combi-lifts, conduct safety checks, and transport containers across the site in a fast-paced environment.

Day and afternoon shifts are available with ongoing full-time hours. Starting rate from $32.94 per hour, with afternoon shift loading of 15%. Training and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Truck Driver's Licence.
• Current Forklift/Combi-Lift competency/sign-off.
• Experience operating trucks, forklifts or container handling equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Comfortable in chilled/frozen environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and combi-lifts safely throughout the site.
• Complete pre-start inspections and safety checks.
• Source and transport containers according to load schedules.
• Conduct 7-point container inspections and report damage.
• Photograph containers and record inspection information.
• Connect containers to 3-phase power and set temperatures.
• Monitor refrigeration units and report faults.
• Complete container paperwork and weight dockets.
• Apply labels, locks and security tags.
• Follow dock procedures and site safety requirements.
• Maintain clean work areas at shift end.

This hands-on role involves operating trucks and combi-lifts to source, inspect, position, and transport containers throughout the site while ensuring all food safety, cold-chain, and security requirements are met. This position is ideal for experienced drivers who enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment, have a strong commitment to safety, and take pride in maintaining accurate records and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and combi-lifts safely throughout the site
• Complete pre-start inspections and safety checks
• Source and transport containers according to load schedules
• Conduct 7-point container inspections and report any damage
• Photograph containers and record inspection information
• Connect containers to 3-phase power and set required temperatures
• Monitor refrigeration units and report alarms or faults
• Complete Container Register Forms and associated documentation
• Weigh full containers and print weight dockets
• Apply container labels, locks, and security tags
• Follow all dock procedures, traffic management plans, and site safety requirements
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and clean work areas at the end of shift

About You

• Current Truck Driver's Licence
• Current Forklift and/or Combi-Lift competency/sign-off
• Previous experience operating trucks, forklifts, or container handling equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and records
• Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively within a team environment
• Flexible to work rotating shifts when required

Rosters Day Shift

• Rotating roster with weekday and weekend requirements
• Consistent full-time hours

Afternoon Shift

• Monday to Friday roster
• Afternoon shift loading applies
• Ongoing full-time hours available

Pay Rates Day Shift

• Truck Driver - Loadout: $32.94/hr

Afternoon Shift

• Truck Driver - Loadout: $34.42/hr inclusive of 15% loading

Weekend penalties are incorporated into the applicable rates where relevant.
