Australia Post Group seeks an experienced HR Truck Driver to join the StarTrack Perth Airport operation. You will drive our blue trucks, deliver to customers, and connect communities with reliability and care.

This full-time permanent role offers Monday to Friday work with daily overtime. You will hold HR and forklift licences, perform safety checks, load and unload freight, and contribute to a respectful, safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold an unrestricted HR licence and forklift licence.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and responsible driving record.
• Ability to work with a team and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Drive MR/HR trucks in a daily delivery routine to customers and stores.
• Safely load and unload freight, perform vehicle safety checks each shift.
• Return to Perth Airport facility for handovers and pick-ups.
• Maintain punctual deliveries while adhering to chain of responsibility.

About the opportunity

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our unrestricted HR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted Perth Airport based StarTrackbusiness, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but yo u’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

This is a full time permanent opportunity and provides variety in your day working between our Bulk and PUD operations focussing on our new customers in loose bulk and shopping centres. Working Monday to Friday with daily overtime, the role pays $35.73 per hour plus 13% super, a $50 week district allowance, overtime ratesand much more! Due to the hybrid nature of the role between Bulk and PUD, you will be driving both MR's and HR's in this role.

You’ll be

• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Driving our modern trucks between StarTrack Perth Airport and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Returning to the StarTrack Perth Airport facility to unload pick-ups.

About you

• You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
• You're flexible enough to jump into an MR or HR truck.
• You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

• Hold a relevant unrestricted HR and Forklift licence.
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck lifting up to 30kg.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
• You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less.
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.
