Job summary

Boral Quarries is seeking a casual Driver to join our Queensland operations. You will deliver quarry materials with a truck and dog vehicle, perform daily checks, complete delivery documentation and coordinate with production on customer and project needs.

A safety-first approach and reliable home-aligned hours are expected. Applicants must hold a valid HC licence, have tipper truck experience, and possess an OH&S White Card.

Qualifications

• HC licence required and valid.
• Proven experience driving tipper trucks.
• OH&S induction for construction industry (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Deliver quarry materials in a truck and dog vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report maintenance.
• Complete basic delivery documentation.
• Liaise with production staff regarding customer and project experiences.

This is a casual position that requires the flexibility to work Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday shift.

Your day will involve:

• Delivery of quarry materials driving a truck and dog vehicle which includes responsibility for compliance with axle weights tolerances and using smart track system to capture data
• Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as required
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

• HC Licence
• Proven experience driving tipper trucks (end tipper experience preferred)
• OH&S induction for construction industry (white Card)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations
