Lindsay Australia Ltd is seeking a reliable Truck Driver / Machine Operator for our Innisfail Rural Branch on a casual basis for an initial 3 month period to cover leave. You will deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites and assist with warehouse duties.

This role emphasizes safety and customer service as you coordinate with depot teams and use in-vehicle technology. A current HR/HC licence and forklift licence are required.

Qualificações

• Current HR/HC licence and forklift licence.
• Experience with load restraint and mass requirements.
• Experience with use of manual pallet jacks.
• Strong customer focus and safety mindset.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
• Experience in rural worksites is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

The Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver / Machine Operator to join our team at our Innisfail Rural Branch on a casual basis for an initial 3 month period, providing leave coverage.

As a local driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of customer goods. This position also involves warehouse duties, including loading and unloading stock and ensuring proper load restraint practices are followed.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites


• Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company merchandise


• Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology


• Interacting with customers in a professional manner


• Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight


• Assist with general store and warehouse operations.

About you:

Ideally, you will have:

• A current HR Licence / HC licence


• A current forklift licence


• Knowledge of & experience with load restraint and mass requirements


• Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks


• Have a strong customer focus


• A strong commitment to safety and reliability


• Good time management and communication skills


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team


• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.

Experience in a rural worksite or engaging with rural clients is highly regarded.

Candidates must have valid and current Australian working rights to be considered for this position.
