Ben Furney Flour Mills in Dubbo is seeking a Road Train Operator to join our team. You’ll drive the road train, transporting grain from on-farm suppliers and bulk handlers back to the factory, with most runs within 200km of Dubbo and home most nights.

Key responsibilities include load/unload, safe vehicle operation, record keeping, and representing our brand in every interaction. You’ll need a current MC licence, a passion for truck driving, 1–2 years of road train experience, and a strong

• Hold a current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's Licence.
• Have a passion for truck driving.
• 1–2 years of professional Road Train driving experience.
• Pass a Truck Safe Medical.
• Provide an RMS demerit point report indicating a safe driving record.
• Be well presented with a customer service attitude.
• Commit to safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

You drive the road train, and we have you home most nights!

The Role

Become an integral part of our Ben Furney Flour Mills team in Dubbo. Our road train operator picks up grain directly from our on-farm suppliers, along with bulk handlers, and delivers it back to the factory. You will drive the road train mostly within 200km of Dubbo.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Load/unload, handle and transport materials safely
• Manage vehicle in safe operating condition
• Generation and maintenance of records
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
• Adherence to company policiesand relevant industry legislation
• Actively participate in strong and efficient teamwork practices

About You

To be considered for the Road Train Operator position, you will need to:

• Hold a current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's Licence
• Have a passion for truck driving
• 1- 2 years of professional Road Train driving experience
• Undergo and pass a Truck Safe Medical
• Be able to provide an RMS demerit point report, which illustrates a safe driving record
• Be well presented with a customer service attitude
• A genuine commitment to safety and applying safe working practices
