Job summary

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to deliver building materials in the Cairns region, ensuring on-time and safe handovers to customers.

Join our Transport & Logistics team, assist with loading and unloading, and provide courteous service while maintaining high safety standards. Prior experience and a valid licence are essential for this locally focused role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ truck driving experience and a clean driving record.
• DG dogging licence (desirable but not essential)
• Physically fit and able to safely handle goods
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using computers and learning new systems
• Strong focus on safety
• Good knowledge of Cairns and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Complete customer deliveries safely and on schedule
• Check goods against run sheets before delivery
• Load, move and handle stock with care
• Provide friendly service to customers and team members
• Operate vehicles, plant and equipment safely
• Make sure products arrive secure and in good condition

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a positive, reliable Driver to deliver building materials to our customers safely and on time. You’ll be part of our Transport & Logistics team, helping load, unload and deliver stock while providing great service along the way.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

This role suits someone who is confident driving locally, enjoys working with people and is comfortable handling heavy building materials safely.

• Complete customer deliveries safely and on schedule
