Latrobe City Council is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Employee - Tree Maintenance for the Morwell Depot. The role is full-time, ongoing, at Band 3 with an annual salary of 70,286.32 AUD plus allowances, in a safety-focused, outdoor environment.

You'll perform amenity tree work, operate elevated platforms and other heavy equipment, and contribute to safe, well-maintained public spaces across Gippsland. A 9-day fortnight and flex working may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining municipal trees and vegetation assets.
• Knowledge of arboriculture practices and safety standards.
• Ability to operate specialised plant and equipment safely.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Undertake amenity tree and vegetation maintenance per standards.
• Safely operate specialised plant and equipment (e.g., elevating platforms, chippers).
• Ensure work meets OHS requirements and Council procedures.
• Assist across maintenance operations and participate in overtime when required.
• Provide guidance and support to staff for safe work practices.
• Maintain tools and equipment; contribute to continuous improvement.
