Job summary

Latrobe City Council is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Employee for Drains and Signs in Morwell. This full-time role operates on a 9-day fortnight within the City Presentation team, offering a Band 3 salary and allowances.

You will perform drainage and signage maintenance across Latrobe City's infrastructure, safely operating vehicles and equipment while keeping accurate records and adhering to safety policies. The position emphasizes practical, hands-on outdoor work for community safety.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in drainage or signage maintenance for municipal works.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in outdoor environments.
• Ability to interpret diagrams and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake drainage and signage maintenance across the municipality using plant and equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair traffic, regulatory and community signage to standards.
• Perform drainage maintenance and assist with infrastructure renewal.
