Job summary

G’day Group in Australia seeks a hands-on Relief Manager to work across 17 Discovery Parks locations in WA, SA, QLD and the NT. You’ll step in to lead daily operations across work-stay villages, ensuring smooth running in the absence of the Park Manager and traveling between sites as required.

Rosters may vary with patterns such as 5:2, 10:4 or 14:7. You’ll oversee village operations, manage staff rosters, monitor labour and budgets, conduct handover reviews, and support guest care while

Qualifications

• Experience in accommodation management, with work-stay or village experience preferred.
• Flexibility to travel to different locations, including remote areas.
• Ability to work varying roster patterns (5:2, 10:4, 14:7).
• Proven ability to manage, develop and train staff.
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with RMS or similar property management systems.
• WHS responsibilities; HACCP and Food Safety knowledge desirable.
• Current manual driver’s licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily village operations, including kitchen, grounds, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Conduct pre- and post-handover reviews with Park Managers.
• Manage and roster park teams.
• Monitor labour and park budgets.
• Handle office administration tasks.
• Attend to after-hours call-outs as required.
