Job summary

Discovery Parks in Australia is seeking a mobile Relief Manager to oversee daily village operations across 17 locations. You will step in for Park Managers, travel between sites as required, and uphold hospitality and guest care standards in diverse environments.

The role offers varied rosters (5:2, 10:4, 14:7), hands-on leadership, budgeting, staff development, and readiness for after-hours calls. You’ll bring experience in accommodation management and a willingness to work across WA, SA, QLD

Qualifications

• Mobile, adaptable individual who thrives on variety.
• Willingness to travel to different locations, including remote areas.
• Flexible to varying roster patterns (5:2, 10:4 and 14:7).
• Proven ability to manage, develop and train staff.
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience with RMS or similar property management system.
• Knowledge of WHS responsibilities; HACCP and Food Safety knowledge desirable.
• A current manual driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily village operations, including kitchen, grounds, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Pre- and post-handover reviews with Park Managers.
• Manage and roster park teams.
• Monitor labour and park budgets.
• Handle office administration tasks.
• Attend to after-hours call-outs as required.
