Job summary

Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) is seeking a Travelift & Forklift Operator to join our hands-on operations team on the Gold Coast. This permanent full-time role involves safely operating lifting equipment, moving vessels, and assisting with yard operations in a fast-paced marine environment.

You will receive ongoing training, work alongside experienced marine professionals, and help ensure safety, quality, and customer service for members and guests during lift, storage, launch, and

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery and lifting equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Boating knowledge or marine industry experience.
• Current Driver's Licence (minimum) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Travelifts, forklifts and associated lifting equipment.
• Lift, move, position and launch vessels safely and efficiently.
• Prepare vessels for lifting, hardstand storage and launching.
• Conduct equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist with daily yard operations and vessel movements.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas.
• Coordinate activities with team members and contractors.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.

d'Albora, Australia's largest marina group, is offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as a permanent full‑time Travelift & Forklift Operator at Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM).

Located in a prime position on Queensland's spectacular Gold Coast, GCCM is one of Australia's most comprehensive and award‑winning shipyard facilities. With over 90 leading marine businesses onsite, the precinct offers extensive marine services, including a 200‑berth marina, 300‑vessel dry stack, large hardstand facilities and specialised lifting equipment.

Reporting to the Operations & Facilities Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely operate Travelifts, forklifts and associated lifting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A QLD Boat licence (desirable).

• Availability to work weekends.
• Current working rights in Australia.
