Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Solution Engineer to support business acquisition and retention for LMS brands. You will partner with Sales, Account Management, Product and Technology to showcase our capabilities and deliver impactful technology demonstrations for mid-market and large corporate customers.

This consultative role involves solution design, stakeholder management, and direct engagement with corporate travel managers and executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Solution Engineer, Pre‑Sales, Sales Support or similar role.
• Strong presentation, demonstration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience conducting technical workshops or customer consultations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and time management capabilities.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and account management to support customer acquisition and retention opportunities.
• Lead engaging technology demonstrations for prospects and existing customers.
• Facilitate technical discussions with corporate travel managers, procurement teams, technology stakeholders and executives.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor throughout the sales and customer lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into technology solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
• Build confidence in our technology offerings through consultative engagement and solution expertise.
• Support strategic account presentations, workshops and technical consultations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel as required to support customer engagement and opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of solution demonstrations and engagement practices.
