Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking a Solution Engineer to support business growth across LMS brands. You will partner with Sales, Account Management, Product and Technology to showcase our technology capabilities and demonstrate why we are the partner of choice for mid-market and large corporate customers.

This consultative role combines technology expertise with customer engagement, solution design and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales, Sales Support, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technology role
• Strong presentation, demonstration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience conducting technical workshops, solution discussions, or customer consultations
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centric mindset
• Strong problem-solving, organisation, and time management capabilities
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and account management teams to support customer acquisition and retention opportunities
• Lead engaging technology demonstrations for prospects and existing customers
• Facilitate technical discussions with corporate travel managers, procurement teams, technology stakeholders, and executive leaders
• Act as a trusted technology advisor throughout the sales and customer lifecycle
• Translate customer business requirements into technology solution recommendations
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs
• Build confidence in our technology offerings through consultative engagement and solution expertise
• Support strategic account presentations, workshops, and technical consultations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Travel as required to support customer engagement and business opportunities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of solution demonstration and customer engagement practices
