Zurich Insurance Group in Australia is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager - Travel to own performance analytics for the Australian and New Zealand Travel portfolio. You will combine portfolio, claims and financial data to drive profitability and informed decisions.

As part of the Travel Pricing & Portfolio team, you will shape pricing, portfolio strategy and forecasting, partnering with Pricing, Claims, Finance and Product to translate analysis into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Actuary status, FIAA or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of general insurance experience.
• Experience in portfolio management across direct and intermediated channels.
• A minimum of five years' experience in an Individual Life Underwriting role, within a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance P&L performance and its key drivers.
• Strong capability across Excel, SQL, SAS and Power BI, with Python experience viewed favourably.
• Experience building robust processes and intuitive dashboards.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and analyse portfolio performance across Direct and Intermediated channels, partners, products and customer segments.
• Apply portfolio valuation and profitability techniques to support new business, renewals and strategic decision-making.
• Drive the Underwriting function's loss ratio and volume assumptions across planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Build, automate and maintain intuitive self-service dashboards that provide a trusted view of performance and portfolio trends.
• Turn quantitative analysis into practical recommendations across portfolio mix, retention, claims experience and channel performance.
• Mentor and develop junior team members through technical guidance, constructive feedback and professional development support.
