Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking a Travel and Expense Officer to provide end-to-end support for travel and expense processes, including employee expense claims and corporate card administration.

You will review transactions for compliance, build relationships across the University, and identify opportunities for process improvement while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time role with a base salary of 86,540–95,920 AUD per year plus 17% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a finance/expenses/financial administration environment with compliance knowledge.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for travel and expense processes, including employee expense claims and corporate card administration.
• Review and audit expense transactions to ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Build strong relationships across the University while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
