Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of NTG official travel policies and guidelines or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong office administration with high-level numeracy and literacy skills.
• Analytical, logical, problem-solving abilities with evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication, mediation and negotiation skills with diverse groups.
• Experience using corporate systems and databases to manage records and reports.
• Client service mindset with focus on meeting stakeholder requirements.

• High-level computer literacy including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact, advising travellers and managers on travel policy and legislation.
• Process travel requisitions and perform compliance checks against NT Government policies.
• Reconcile travel-related accounts and corporate card transactions with proper approvals.
• Identify and resolve travel non-compliance and advise travellers accordingly.
• Administer the travel system, support staff, and maintain traveller profiles.
• Coordinate official travel with NT Government providers and approved vendors.
• Provide advice on service delivery, risk identification and continuous improvement.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through liaison and problem solving.
• Maintain reporting systems and prepare accurate submissions and briefings.
