Job summary

NSW Health's Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney is seeking an Administrative Clinical Support Officer (Level 3) to support the Trauma Orthopaedics Ward. You will work with nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals, delivering efficient administrative services to keep the ward running smoothly.

The role involves independent work within a team, KPI-driven tasks, and shift times aligned to patient care, with a permanent full-time arrangement and comprehensive NSW Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role.
• Ability to work independently with broad supervision and contribute within a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a busy ward environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the ward/unit under the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).
• Support the work activities of nurses, midwives, medical staff and allied health staff.
• Work as part of a ward/unit-based team, with shift times aligned to patient care needs.
• Maintain KPIs and contribute to efficient operation of the unit.
