Job summary

Family Centered Support Services – Morayfield QLD is seeking Casual Team Members to support Children and Young People in Residential Out-of-Home Care at our rural properties, using a therapeutic, technology-reduced model of care. You will help them achieve social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals while overseeing daily care.

Joining requires mandatory paid training, 8 days across two weeks in Brisbane, and ongoing development in a rapidly growing learning organisation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to teach life skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, homework, personal care).
• Develop and maintain support documentation and progress notes.
• Assess and support developmental progress of the Young People.
• Liaise with stakeholders, contribute to planning and shared outcomes.
• Create activity plans and facilitate community engagement.
• Use Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques to support behaviours.
