CAAPS Aboriginal Corporation in Darwin invites a Youth Services Case Worker to provide trauma-informed care and case management to young people affected by substance use. You will build strong therapeutic relationships, support engagement in CAAPS Youth Services programs, and coordinate treatment goals within a culturally safe framework.

The role requires a Diploma in AOD/Community Services/Youth Work (or willingness to obtain), experience with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander youth, and

• Adopts a strength-based approach to behaviour management and trauma informed care principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong administrative and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide case management support to CAAPS Youth Services through established case management principles.
• Offer trauma-informed case support to youth to empower, engage and motivate recovery.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships and facilitate participation in CAAPS programs, activities and external services.
• Coordinate and support clients to achieve treatment goals and wellbeing.
• Maintain safety and cultural safety in service delivery.
