Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a role in Victims Services to provide information, guidance and referrals to victims of crime in a trauma-informed, client‑centred environment. You will manage applications for victims’ support, collaborate across Victims Services, and help administer the Victims Support Scheme to meet KPIs.

The role offers ongoing opportunities (part‑time and full‑time) in Parramatta, with a salary of AU$102,936–AU$113,579 per year plus employer

• Provide high level service and support to victims of crime through information, advice and referrals.
• Manage applications for victims' support with timely service.
• Collaborate across Victims Services to improve policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level service and support to victims of crime, delivering information, advice and referrals.
• Manage applications for victims' support and ensure timely service.
• Deliver comprehensive client service and support for victims of crime.
• Work in a trauma-informed way to address client needs holistically.
• Take ownership of the client experience with first contact resolution and case management.
• Collaborate across Victims Services to ensure effective administration of the Victims Support Scheme and identify improvements.
• Achieve and exceed all KPI and performance targets while complying with relevant legislation.
