Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT in Liverpool, NSW, seeks a Therapeutic Specialist for Intensive Therapeutic Care. You will lead trauma‑informed care, support staff, carers and families, and develop therapeutic response plans to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people.

You will chair Therapeutic Care Team meetings, conduct Reflective Practice sessions, and ensure children's voices are included in care planning.

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, OT, Mental Health Nursing).
• Minimum 5 years in a therapeutic care setting or clinical environment with Children and Young People in Out of Home Care or child protection (3 years may be considered).
• Experience in multi‑disciplinary teams and trauma‑informed practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide therapeutic oversight and targeted interventions for children and young people in Out-of-Home Care.
• Develop and review trauma-informed care assessments and intervention plans.
• Facilitate Therapeutic Care Team and Multidisciplinary Team Meetings.
• Equip children and young people with safety and resilience skills.
• Promote a culture of respect, humility, and empowerment.
• Support Aboriginal families and service providers for cultural healing.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with legislative requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to embed trauma-informed practice.
