SYC’s Specialised Residential Care (SRC) program seeks an experienced Therapeutic Care Team Leader to guide a dedicated team at our Gilles Plains home, with travel to Kent Town head office and other SYC locations.

You will lead daily operations, model trauma-informed practice, mentor staff, coordinate individualised care plans, and ensure accurate documentation and community safety for children and young people in care.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children and young people with complex trauma.
• Ability to lead a team across a 24/7 roster.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, child-centred care.

Aufgaben

• Oversee a team of therapeutic care workers in the home.
• Conduct regular supervision meetings with TCWs.
• Provide mentorship and ensure training resources.
• Collaborate on individualised transition plans for children moving in/out of the home.
• Ensure timely administrative tasks: timesheets, leave, case notes and incident reports.
