Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience working with young people in residential care is essential.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches is expected.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, child-centred care to residents.
• Support morning and evening routines and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and maintain a welcoming home environment.
• Document incidents and case notes to required standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent care.
