Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings with trauma-informed approaches.
• Willingness to work rotating rosters including sleepovers, weekends and overnights.
• Minimum qualification requirement of Certificate IV level or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Eligible to work in Australia; relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, supervision and emotional support to young people.
• Support routines, education, appointments, activities and community participation.
• Build positive relationships with young people and multidisciplinary teams.
• Implement care plans and behavioural support strategies within trauma-informed frameworks.
• Respond calmly to challenging behaviours and crisis situations.
• Support young people to develop life skills and independence.
• Maintain shift reports and case notes with attention to accuracy.
• Promote culturally safe, inclusive environments and team collaboration.
