ProCare Australia, in partnership with Red Centre Support Services, is recruiting Residential Youth Workers to relocate to Mount Isa. The role operates within a trauma-informed, 24-hour residential care setting, with shifts including day, afternoon, overnight and public holidays.

Candidates must meet screening requirements and are supported with relocation packages. Successful applicants will contribute to safe, stable environments for young people and participate in care planning, education

Qualifications

• Experience in residential youth care or related fields.
• Ability to work within trauma-informed frameworks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily care and emotional support to young people.
• Implement care plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and documentation.
• Support routines, education, appointments and community participation.
• Promote culturally safe and inclusive environments.
• Respond to challenging behaviours safely and effectively.
