Marymead CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in Braddon ACT. This part-time role (4 days a week) delivers assessments and evidence-based interventions to support children’s daily functioning and independence.

You will work with children aged 0–12 who have experienced trauma, develop goal-focused plans, use play-based approaches, and collaborate with families, GPs, nurses, psychologists, and other staff.

Formación

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA.
• Current Police Check and ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
• Driver’s Licence required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and with children.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and deliver evidence-based interventions to support children’s daily functioning and independence.
• Develop individualised, goal-focused treatment plans with families.
• Use play-based approaches to promote engagement and skill development.
• Collaborate with parents, GPs, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other stakeholders.
• Manage diverse caseload and participate in outreach when required.
