Job summary

The Australian Childhood Foundation is offering a part-time role based in Sale/Bairnsdale with travel across Outer Gippsland. This fixed-term contract runs until 31 December 2027 and involves intensive case management and trauma-informed support for children, young people and families.

The Navigator Program collaborates with the Department of Education and Uniting Gippsland. Applicants should have a tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work, be eligible for professional association

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work required.
• Eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma, attachment, developmental, disability and neurobiology frameworks.
• Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions to children, young people and families.
