Western NSW Local Health District is seeking a Drug & Alcohol Clinician to work within the Psychosocial team in Dubbo. You will help deliver assessments, schedule counselling, develop treatment plans and provide supports to clients with substance use issues.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centred care and a holistic approach to address physical, emotional and social needs across community and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and schedule counselling appointments.
• Provide court reports and follow up with GP or other services.
• Develop treatment plans and write reports.
• Deliver advocacy and case management alongside counselling skills.
• Apply trauma-informed care principles to each client.
• Support clients through substance use recovery in community or inpatient settings.
