Life Without Barriers Education in NSW seeks a Deputy Principal to lead teaching and learning across NSW campuses. You'll work with the Principal and National Education team to drive educational quality, build a strong school culture, and ensure students feel safe, supported and empowered to reach their potential.

Guided by our Common Ground trauma-informed and relational practice, you'll strengthen teaching practice, support staff capability, and improve outcomes for disengaged or at-risk young

Qualifications

• Current NESA accreditation, or the ability to meet accreditation requirements.
• Proven experience in educational leadership and staff supervision.
• Experience leading curriculum planning, assessment and quality improvement.
• Experience supporting disengaged or at-risk students with complex needs.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Life Without Barriers Education teaching and learning model to deliver differentiated, curriculum-aligned learning.
• Embed trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive approaches in school culture.
• Guide curriculum planning, assessment, and data collection including NCCD.
• Lead staff supervision, coaching and professional development for continuous improvement.
• Support staff in applying therapeutic practices and building positive relationships with students, families and community partners.
• Oversee records, reporting, and compliance to ensure safe learning environments and transitions to further education or employment.
