Job summary

Open Support DFV is seeking a motivated early childhood professional to lead the development and implementation of a child and family support framework within Open Support Domestic & Family Violence Service. Your trauma-informed approach will guide service delivery and drive high-quality, child-centered, trauma-informed support.

You will combine hands-on work with program management to ensure best practice is embedded in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and families affected by DFV using trauma-informed approaches.
• Demonstrated understanding of early childhood development and play-based approaches.
• Knowledge of issues facing children who have experienced trauma and its impact on development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a child and family support framework for Open Support DFV service.
• Utilise practical skills with children and families while applying project management to embed best practice.
• Ensure compliance with relevant child protection standards and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
