Qualifications

• Minimum tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or similar qualification in related discipline
• Experience supporting children and/or families affected by DFV using trauma-informed approaches
• Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based approaches in DFV settings
• Understanding of issues facing children experiencing trauma and its impact on development

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a child and family support framework for Open Support DFV service
• Utilise practical skills to work directly with children and families and manage programs
• Develop and deliver individual and group interventions
• Ensure compliance with child safety standards and guidelines

Education

Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field
