Job summary

Loogistics on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced scheduler or allocator to plan and allocate the daily runs for our truck fleet. You will determine which service, delivery and collection jobs belong together, assign trucks and drivers, and sequence multi-stop runs for efficiency.

You will balance geography, priorities, vehicle capabilities, site restrictions and driver workload while adapting to day-to-day changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport allocation, scheduling, dispatch or coordinating mobile field-service teams.
• Able to plan efficient multi-stop runs.
• Comfortable prioritising competing work.
• Cost-conscious about kilometres and driver time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate the daily work for five regular drivers operating a mixed fleet of trucks.
• Decide which service, delivery and collection jobs belong together and assign trucks and drivers.
• Sequence multi-stop runs for efficiency and cost control.
• Balance geography, customer priorities, vehicle capabilities, site restrictions and driver workload.
• Work with drivers, customer service and yard teams and communicate with customers when required.
