Job summary

Wettenhalls Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Business Partner to partner with operational teams across our national transport operation.

You will provide expert advice, coaching and support on safety and compliance activities, including audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Safety & Compliance, you will maintain accreditation schemes such as NHVAS, support audits, monitor performance and help teams understand and meet transport

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, safety or compliance environments preferred.
• Strong NHVR/HVNL knowledge preferred.
• Familiar with NHVAS accreditation schemes (Mass, Maintenance, Fatigue Management) preferred.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations.
• Excellent investigation, reporting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance accreditation schemes (NHVAS, HACCP).
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Investigate non-conformances and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct work diary audits and compliance reviews.
• Support Chain of Responsibility compliance across the business.
• Monitor vehicle and driver accreditation records.
• Develop and maintain compliance procedures, policies and systems.
• Prepare compliance reports and performance metrics.
• Provide coaching and training to operational teams.
• Liaise with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance projects.
