Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Transport Supervisor in Australia to manage the transport section within the Transport and Logistics Department. You will lead Transport Specialists, plan rosters, and ensure safe, compliant operations across shifts, including after-hours coordination.

Role requires adherence to environmental, health and safety standards, maintaining licenses and endorsements, and liaising with stakeholders. Availability outside regular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship required.
• Understanding of Australian transport and logistics regulations (licensing, roadworthiness, fatigue management).
• Desirable: Certificate in Logistics/Transport Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Transport Specialists across day and shift operations, coordinating staffing and ensuring continuity of transport services.
• Develop and manage bus rosters to ensure transport services are adequately resourced, including holidays.
• Coordinate transport requirements for special events, including VIP visits.
• Ensure transport activities and movement of loads comply with legislative and organisational requirements.
• Oversee fleet inspections, maintenance, defect reporting and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintain safety records.
